About the artist
For this film I started with a short story I wrote myself. Out of that story emerged the visual style for the film. Everything was done on a computer, either drawn frame by frame on a tablet or drawn and used for digital cutout animation.
About the work
The story for this film is a personal one, telling of my decision to abandon Christianity in order to find my own truth when I was sixteen after having spent my childhood as a Catholic kid. I didn't want a classic autobiographical piece, so I used surreal and symbolic elements to tell a weird but personal story. This film was my graduation work at the Royal College of Art.
